Resident Evil original trilogy on GOG
GOG is releasing the original Resident Evil Trilogy on PC.
As with many GOG releases, it appears that the games will run through a wrapper which will allow you to customize your settings. One of the main features is modern controller support.
As of this writing, Resident Evil 1 is available for purchase at $9.99 USD. Resident Evil 2 and 3 will follow shortly as the pack is also listed as a bundle for $24.99 USD.
There is 1 major drawback (at least for the original Resident Evil 1). It appears that the FMVs run at an outdated 10fps. Thanks to the internet, there’s a fix for that.
I need to dig up my old hex mod folders so I can swap in HUNK into Leon’s campaign for Resident Evil 2.
