The Third Floor is a pre-visualization studio founded in 2004 by a collective of artists that worked on Revenge of the Sith at Lucasfilm. They named their new company after the location where they worked.

The Third Floor features two main studios, the first is located in Los Angeles, California. The second is located in London, England. They contributed pre-visualization work for Capcom for Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6.

Besides creating previsualization for both film and television, The Third Floor has also expanded into motion capture, camera layout and shooting on set. The Third Floor has been one of the studios which have made pre-visualization extremely sought after in all media, Film, Games and Live Attractions.

The Third Floor has also helped game studios create cinematics by working in-engine with developers.

They are currently heavily involved in the majority of comic book movie adaptations with DC and Marvel.
