yU+co
yU+co was founded in 1998 by Garson Yu. They specialize in film title sequences, visualization, storyboarding and interactive installations. They helped produce 80 minutes of cinematics for Resident Evil 5.

Resident Evil 5 marked the first time Capcom worked with Western art houses to produce cinematics for the series. yU+co took Capcom through the entire creative process, storyboarding, pre-visualization and final scenes.
yU+co’s most innovative contribution to Resident Evil 5 was the use of their virtual camera. This method enabled the team to have their talent act out specific scenes while the camera moved along with them. The scene then updated the character’s movements in-engine where the team could have full control in staging.
yU+co features their main studio in California, USA. With two additional studios in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
Curiously, Resident Evil 5 was not their only zombie-like project. They have also created the intro sequence for The Walking Dead, for seasons 3 through 7.
